目前服務於中央研究院資訊科學研究所，從 2003 年即開始研究怎樣建構百萬人同時上線的虛擬世界系統，並採用同儕式網路 (peer-to-peer) 技術。一些成果自 2005 年起即公開在開源網站上 ( http://vast.sourceforge.net , http://ascend.sourceforge.net )。為了促進同儕式網路在虛擬世界的應用，亦協辦過兩屆「巨量多人虛擬世界」國際研討會 ( http://peers-at-play.org/MMVE09/ )。個人從七歲開始接觸 Sierra 冒險遊戲後，就一直被虛擬世界的諸多可能性深深吸引，也因此志於推廣虛擬世界給更多族群使用。
